Nate Nichols

Nate Nichols is the Vice President of Product Management at Salesforce, specializing in driving Generative AI strategy at Tableau and collaborating closely with product development teams. Prior to this role, Nate held various positions at Narrative Science, including Senior Director of Product Management, Software Engineering Architect, and Chief Scientist before its acquisition by Salesforce in 2021. Nate's earlier experience includes serving as Distinguished Principal in Product Strategy and Architecture, and Director of Product Architecture and Incubation at Narrative Science, along with a role as Lead Architect at Northwestern University. Nate earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, English Literature, and Math from DePauw University.
