Pawan Agarwal

Pawan Agarwal is a highly experienced engineering leader, currently serving as the Senior Director Of Engineering for the Salesforce AI Platform since January 2016, where responsibilities include building solutions for GenAI and traditional AI applications. Prior to this role, Pawan held several other positions at Salesforce, including Director Of Engineering for Salesforce Search, where extensive expertise was demonstrated in handling billions of search queries daily and developing scalable and reliable search infrastructures. Pawan’s previous experience includes significant contributions at Microsoft, specifically in developing Azure Data Factory and Azure Machine Learning Service, as well as leading various software development initiatives for Windows platforms. Pawan's career began at Cisco Systems, focusing on enhancing voicemail features for IP Phones. Pawan Agarwal holds an M.B.A. from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a B.E. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
