Yingchi Liu

Yingchi Liu is an experienced Lead Applied Scientist in AI at Salesforce, beginning in July 2025. Prior to this role, Yingchi served as a Senior Research Scientist at Axon from December 2022 to August 2025, and as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Yohana from February 2021 to September 2022, developing NLP services and recommendation systems to enhance operational efficiency. Yingchi's earlier experience includes a Senior Engineer position at Alibaba Group, focused on news recommendation products, and a Software/Java Developer role at IBM Watson Group, where contributions involved natural language algorithm development and service deployment on the IBM Watson Developer Cloud. Yingchi's academic background features a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Physics/Solar Cells from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by a B.S. in Physics from Nanjing University.
