Michael Liberant

Michael Liberant is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Rent The Runway since December 2019, Michael has successfully led teams through significant transitions, including growth, layoffs, and IPO preparations while overseeing a major migration to Google Cloud. Previously, at UPS i-parcel, Michael directed software engineering efforts that resulted in the development of the UPS Worldwide Economy product. With a solid foundation at UPS in various engineering roles, including Applications Architect and Senior Software Developer Team Lead, Michael has demonstrated a strong ability to build high-performing teams and deliver complex software solutions. Additionally, Michael holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology and dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University - Newark.
