Jimmy Alford

Jimmy Alford has a diverse work history in the software engineering field. Jimmy is currently working at Salesloft as a Senior Software Engineer since September 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Salesloft, including Software Engineer from March 2020 to September 2022, Junior Software Engineer from March 2020 to June 2021, and Support Engineer from December 2018 to March 2020.

Before joining Salesloft, Jimmy worked at NPM Digital as a Web Developer in 2018. In this role, they were responsible for troubleshooting, fixing defects, and extending the functionality of existing sites, systems, applications, and content management systems. Jimmy also ported a Laravel app to Ruby on Rails and developed a CRUD interface for managing events and a REST API middleware for communication with other apps. Their work helped manage around 10,000 RSVPs yearly for events.

In 2016, Jimmy served as a Summer Research Intern at Princeton University.

In 2014, Jimmy started their professional journey as a Web Design Intern at Saddleback Church. Here, they taught himself to code in HTML and CSS and created a website from scratch to showcase approximately 50 interns, including their personal information and job responsibilities. Jimmy successfully launched the website within just over three months.

Jimmy Alford attended Liberty University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
