Aungshuman Zaman, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University, where they studied an extremely rare particle physics process and analyzed more than 600 TBs of collision data. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at CERN, where they were a part of the ATLAS collaboration and worked on the Insertable B-Layer of the Pixel detector. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Lecturer at Suffolk County Community College. Aungshuman Zaman, Ph.D. attended Stony Brook University from 2010 to 2016, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in High Energy Particle Physics. Prior to that, they attended the University of Dhaka from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics.
