James Schwass

James Schwass began their career in 2008 as a Research Specialist at Directions in Research. James then moved to Grand Valley State University as a Computing and Technology Support Technician, where they worked until 2010. In 2010, they joined Unified Property Group as a Business Systems Analyst. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Instructor of Record) at Western Michigan University. During this time, they also taught courses in college algebra, calculus, and vector analysis with applications, and maintained an active research program, submitting two manuscripts for publication. In 2016, they joined SalesPage Technologies, where they held the roles of Data Engineer Manager, Senior Data Engineer, and Solutions Developer.

James Schwass obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Grand Valley State University between 2006 and 2009. James then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from Western Michigan University between 2010 and 2015. In December 2021, they completed a High Impact Leadership Training with Humanergy Inc. | Impactful Leadership Development.
