David Heenan

David Heenan is a seasoned professional with a robust background in managing and directing organizations within the healthcare and innovation sectors. Currently, David serves as Managing Director at prinnovo and Salinas Valley Health, as well as at Cone Health Ventures, where the focus is on co-innovating and investing in health and wellness startups. With experience as an NCI SBIR Investor Initiatives Reviewer since 2018, David plays a pivotal role in connecting small business research initiatives with investors. Prior to these roles, David held positions including President at Acuity Behavioral Health and Director of Operations at BrightEdge Ventures for the American Cancer Society. David's entrepreneurial journey began as Founder, President, and CEO of Aces Health, a healthcare tech startup. David holds a B.A. in International Affairs from The University of Georgia.
