Robert Lyng

Robert Lyng has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Their most recent position, starting in 2022, is as the Executive Director of Process Development & Analytical Sciences at SalioGen Therapeutics. Prior to this, they worked at Omega Therapeutics from 2017 to 2022, holding the roles of Senior Director and Director of Process Development & Analytical Sciences. From 2014 to 2017, Robert served as the Associate Director of Analytical Development at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Robert began their career at Synageva BioPharma Corp. in 2010, where they held the positions of Senior Scientist and Research Scientist II. Before entering the biopharmaceutical industry, Robert worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Emory University from 2009 to 2010, and as a Ph.D. candidate at the same institution from 2003 to 2009. Robert also has work experience as a Research Scientist at Kimberly-Clark from 1997 to 2003. Robert's expertise lies in process development, analytical sciences, and leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Robert Lyng obtained their B.A. in Biochemistry from Harvard University from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further education at Emory University from 2003 to 2009, where they received their Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology.
