Saptarshi Paul has a strong background in HRIS management and implementation. Saptarshi started their career in 2005 as an HRIS Consultant at Wipro Technologies, where they transitioned to working primarily with Workday. At Wipro, they conducted end-to-end testing of business processes and resolved security issues.
Saptarshi then moved on to Analog Devices in 2012, where they served as a Senior Workday Analyst. In this role, they tested and implemented HRIS upgrades and administered a full benefit program. Saptarshi also facilitated open enrollment and health & wellness initiatives.
In 2012, Saptarshi joined Accenture as a Workday Project Manager. Saptarshi was responsible for managing large-scale Workday implementations across multiple geographies. Saptarshi effectively partnered with client managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points in the HR system landscape. Saptarshi also managed a team of Workday consultants, providing coaching and mentoring.
From 2016 to 2018, Saptarshi worked at WeWork as a Senior Workday Analyst. Saptarshi provided post go-live support for Workday and managed annual HRIS projects. Saptarshi also conducted business requirement reviews, performed fit/gap analysis, and managed test cycles. Their work in business continuity planning reduced new hire transition time.
Saptarshi then joined Anaplan in 2018 as a Workday HRIS Manager. In this role, they managed various projects including recruiting optimization, job architecture and pay restructure, performance reviews, absence management, and payroll outsourcing.
Most recently, Saptarshi worked at Doma (fka States Title) as a Senior Workday HRIS and Analytics Manager. Saptarshi led a successful Workday HCM/Payroll implementation and partnered with business leaders for critical HR programs. Saptarshi provided technical leadership to direct reports and stakeholder groups.
In 2023, Saptarshi will join Sallie Mae as a Director of HRIS.
Saptarshi Paul attended St. Joseph's Academy from 1988 to 2001, where they obtained an ISC degree. Saptarshi then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bangalore, from 2001 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained certifications in Workday Payroll Pro, Workday Service Practical, Workday HCM Service Core, and Workday Integration-Advanced, from Workday. Saptarshi has also received a certification in Human Resources: Compensation and Benefits from Lynda.com.
