Fire Chief at Sallyport Global

Yancey Foster's work experience includes serving as Fire Chief for Sallyport Global Fire & Emergency Services at Balad Air Base, Iraq, overseeing fire protection and prevention for various aircraft and facilities. They also served as Deputy Fire Chief and Health & Safety Officer for the same company. Prior to that, they were Assistant Fire Chief for Training and Department Health & Safety Officer at another company. Yancey has extensive experience in fire prevention, inspection, and rescue programs, both in Iraq and in other locations. They have also held positions as Assistant Fire Chief Operations and Fire Chief for various companies contracted to perform fire protection and prevention services. Yancey's career started in the USAF as a Lead Firefighter and later as a USAF Enlisted Fire Protection Specialist.

Yancey Foster obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fire Services Administration from Columbia Southern University from 2013 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, Yancey also earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from the same institution. In addition to their academic achievements, Yancey has obtained various certifications including ICS 400: Advanced ICS for Command and General Staff and ICS 300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents from FEMA in 2017. Yancey has also received certifications from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress, including Fire Inspector III, Fire Instructor III, Fire Officer IV, HazMat Tech/IC/WMD, Public Telecommunicator I/II, and Rescue Technician - Confined Space. Moreover, Yancey has acquired certifications in emergency management, incident command system, national incident management system, and project management. Furthermore, Yancey has completed an Occupational Safety and Health Professional course consisting of 132 hours.
