Ken Fries

Ken Fries is an experienced consultant at Salo LLC since July 2019, with a robust background in internal audit and risk management. Previously, Ken served as the Manager of Internal Audit at Sparton Corporation from February 2014 to June 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing compliance with NYSE, SEC, and PCAOB standards for a $400+ million organization. Before that, Ken held the position of Audit Manager at OfficeMax, managing audit projects for a $7 billion enterprise, and worked at Motorola Mobile Devices in various roles, including Global Inventory Manager and Internal Controls Manager, where significant cost-saving plans and compliance training were developed. Ken began their career as a Senior Auditor at Ameritech, focusing on enhancing billing systems. Ken holds an MBA in General Management from Elmhurst University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
