Nick deMarco

Nick joined Salt Creek Capital in 2023 and resides in Connecticut. He focuses exclusively on deal origination, transaction execution and supporting the growth of existing portfolio companies. Prior to Salt Creek, Nick spent seven years as a senior investment professional at an east coast-based private equity firm where he acquired, grew, and sold numerous middle market companies in the manufacturing and industrials sectors. He also was an interim CFO for a portfolio company, Thermal Solutions Manufacturing. Prior to that, Nick was part of GE Capital’s private equity business where he spent seven years leading equity and debt investments in manufacturing and energy technology businesses.

Prior to that, Nick was part of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff where he focused on improving operations and processes across GE’s global businesses. Nick started his career at GE Aviation on their engineering leadership development program and held multiple roles in product development and manufacturing before transitioning to front-end business roles in marketing and aftermarket services.

Nick graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School with honors and distinction and is a CFA Charterholder.
