Derek Miller

President & CEO at Salt Lake Chamber

Derek Miller serves as the President & CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber since April 2018. Previously, Derek held the same position at World Trade Center Utah from June 2014 to June 2018. Prior roles include Chief of Staff for the Utah Governor's Office from December 2010 to June 2014, Managing Director of the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development from January 2008 to December 2010, and Division Director at the Utah Department of Commerce from September 2005 to January 2008. Derek also served as Counsel for the US House of Representatives between September 2002 and September 2005 and worked as a Management Consultant at Arthur Andersen from August 1998 until its closure in August 2002. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration and a Doctor of Law, both from Brigham Young University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the same institution.
