Ginger Chinn

Ginger Chinn has held various roles throughout their work experience. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Public Policy & Government Affairs at the Salt Lake Chamber since May 2021. Ginger also holds the position of Member Board of Trustees at Utah Tech University since August 2021. In addition, they are involved with the Wasatch Front Regional Council as part of the Wasatch Front Economic Development District (WFEDD) since February 2022. Furthermore, they are a General Member Board of the Utah Commission on Affordable Housing since August 2021. In their previous roles, they served as the Director at StoveTeam International from April 2021, and as a Member Board of Trustees (Past Chair) at Lakeview Hospital from January 2020 to November 2022. Ginger also held the position of Managing Director Business Development- UIPA at the State of Utah from December 2019 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Board Member at Davis County School District from June 2017 to May 2021 and as the Managing Director of Urban & Rural Business Services at the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development from April 2017 to December 2019. Additionally, they served as Honorary Commander at Hill Air Force Base from February 2018 to February 2019.

Ginger Chinn earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from Boise State University, completing their studies from 1990 to 1996. Ginger then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global, graduating between 2012 and 2014. It is also worth noting that Ginger Chinn holds a certification as a Certified Workforce Development Professional from the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, although the specific date of obtaining the certification is not provided.
