Tim Beagley

Tim Beagley is a retired Professor of Biology with extensive experience in education and governance. At Salt Lake Community College, Tim served as a faculty member from August 1990 until retirement. Tim has a history of service on educational boards, having been appointed as a board member for the Utah State Charter School Board from 2008 to 2014 by Governors Huntsman and Herbert, and elected to the Utah State Board of Education from 2002 to 2006, representing district 6. Additionally, Tim was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah from May 1996 to July 1999, focusing on the molecular evolution of genomes, an area of continued research. Tim completed education at the University of Utah from 1983 to 1996.
