Vice President, Government And Community Relations at Salt Lake Community College

Tim Sheehan currently serves as the Vice President of Government and Community Relations at Salt Lake Community College, where responsibilities include overseeing government relations, community outreach, grants administration, and internal audit since July 2010. Previous roles at the College include Vice President of Institutional Advancement, focusing on government relations, marketing, and public relations. Prior experience includes serving as State Director for Senator Bob Bennett, where Tim Sheehan advised on legislative issues, and as State Government Relations Manager for FreeMarkets. Tim Sheehan also held positions with the Office of Utah Governor Mike Leavitt, including Deputy for Policy and Assistant Deputy for Communications, and managed government relations for AT&T Wireless in Utah and Idaho. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University.
