Blake Casselman has a diverse work experience. Blake started their career in 2006 as a Teacher at Sylvan Learning, where they worked until 2009. From 2007 to 2009, they also served as a Film and DVD Critic at Senior Review. In 2009, they co-founded PALAMS Studios, LLC and worked as a Co-owner/Creative Director until 2010. Blake then joined BEAU - Broadview Entertainment Arts University as an Adjunct Instructor from 2013 to 2016. In the same year, they became the Director of Programming at FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention, a role they held until 2022. Blake worked as a Bookseller at Deseret Book Co from 2019 to 2023. In 2022, they joined Sideswipe Webcomics as a Comic Book Writer/Editor and Columbia Elementary School as a Paraprofessional/Classroom Assistant. Blake is currently working as a Customer Service Specialist at Salt Lake County Library since 2023. Additionally, Blake has worked as a Screenwriter and Producer, having contributed to several short films and feature films, including the critically acclaimed "Wheel of Time: Flight from Shadow," "Kiss the Devil in the Dark," and "Adopting Trouble." Blake'supcoming project, "Limbo," is scheduled for release in October 2023.
Blake Casselman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies from the University of Utah, where they attended from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Education at the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2006.
