Adam Fisher has a diverse work history that spans over several companies and roles. Adam started their career as a Help Desk Technician at Utah Valley State College and later became a Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining and administering Distance Education servers.
In 2007, Fisher transitioned to Circlepix.com as an IT Coordinator, where they conducted evaluations of the IT infrastructure, deployed new software, and negotiated more reasonable contracts for phone systems.
Adam then moved to Quest Software, where they served as an Identity and Access Management Professional Services Consultant, deploying authentication and privilege management solutions at large accounts in the US. Their responsibilities expanded in 2011 when they began covering the EMEA region for Quest Software.
Fisher joined CA Technologies in 2012 as a Principal Consultant - Technical Sales, where they designed and presented complex identity management and governance solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Adam demonstrated strong leadership skills in navigating complex purchase cycles and budgets.
Imperva was Fisher's next employer, where they held roles as a Senior Security Engineer and later as a Principal Security Engineer. In these positions, they provided subject-matter expertise, thought leadership, and technical specialization to Imperva clients and partners in the Southwest region. Adam guided customers to secure their business and applications and mentored and guided other engineers on best practices.
Currently, Fisher is working at Salt Security as the Director of Sales Engineering for the West & LATAM region. Adam is responsible for providing subject-matter expertise, thought leadership, and technical specialization to Salt Security's customers and partners. Adam leads the global technical sales engineering team, mentoring other engineers on best practices and sales presentations. Their focus is on guiding customers to secure their business and APIs.
Adam Fisher earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University, completing their studies in 2012. Prior to this, they attended Utah Valley University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, which they completed in 2006. Adam Fisher has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in March 2017, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 in November 2014, the MCP certification from Microsoft in November 2017, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in June 2017.
