Hadar Freehling

Hadar Freehling has over 20 years of work experience in the field of security and technology. They currently hold the position of Principal Solution Engineer at Salt Security, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Hadar worked at VMware from 2013 to 2022, where they held various roles including Cloud Security Solutions Architect, Security Strategist, and Sr. Systems Engineer - Networking and Security. They also worked as a Security Operations Manager at Agilent Technologies from 2011 to 2012. Hadar's earlier experiences include working as a Security Architect at First Data Corp from 2007 to 2011, a Senior Security Compliance Consultant at AmbironTrustWave from 2005 to 2007, a Security and Compliance Consultant at Travelport from 2005 to 2007, and a Network/System Engineer at Mincom from 2001 to 2005. Throughout their career, Hadar has demonstrated expertise in security and compliance, leading teams, managing projects, and architecting secure solutions.

Hadar Freehling obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Hadar further pursued their education by earning a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University, attending from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, Hadar Freehling has obtained several certifications. Hadar received the VCIX-NV certification from VMware in May 2015 and the VCP-NV certification from the same institution in January 2015. Furthermore, they attained the III certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in August 2019. Hadar has also shown an interest in obtaining the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², although it is unclear whether they have completed these certifications.
