Benny Schnaider

Benny Schnaider is the co-founder and chairman of Salto. Benny has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, including executive and management positions at Oracle, Ravello Systems, and Red Hat.

Schnaider has a long history of developing innovative software solutions. At Oracle, they led the team that developed Ravello Cloud Services, a groundbreaking solution that allows enterprises to seamlessly deploy their existing VMware or KVM based data center workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Google Cloud ASIS, without any modification to the VMs, network, or storage. Ravello Cloud Services is based on Ravello’s proprietary HVX (nested virtualization technology), overlay networking and overlay storage technologies.

Schnaider co-founded Ravello Systems in 2011 and served as its chairman and president until 2016. Under their leadership, Ravello grew to become a leading provider of cloud services for enterprises. In September 2018, Oracle acquired Ravello Systems.

Schnaider has also held executive positions at Red Hat, where they served as vice president of business development from 2008 to 2010.

Benny Schnaider has a BSc in Computer Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and an MSc in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.
