Bill Mulligan's work experience includes positions at various companies in the GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) industry.
In 1995, they started their career as an Associate at Seward & Kissel LLP, where they worked until 2000.
In 2001, Mulligan founded HedgeOp Compliance and Evenwheel, pioneering technology solutions in the GRC space. In 2012, these companies merged with The IMS Group to form Cordium. Bill served as Managing Partner/US and Software CEO/Board Director at Cordium until 2016. During this time, they were responsible for global compliance consulting operations, sales, and marketing.
In 2017, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Zigy. In 2018, they joined ACA Compliance Group as a Partner and Member of the Executive Committee, primarily focused on GRC technology efforts. ACA had acquired Cordium, backed by a private equity firm, leading to Mulligan's transition.
In 2019, they founded Mulligan Ventures, Inc. and served as Founder.
Currently, Mulligan is the CEO and Board Member at Salus GRC, an innovative, tech-enabled GRC consulting firm, starting from April 2023.
Bill Mulligan attended Boston University from 1988 to 1991 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1995, they studied at Cornell Law School and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
