Kambiz Nanbakhsh

Kambiz Nanbakhsh is a seasoned expert in bioelectronics and hardware reliability, currently serving as a Senior Hardware Reliability specialist focused on materials and electronics at Salvia BioElectronics since October 2021. Kambiz has previously held roles as a Bioelectronics Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft and as a Senior Scientist at Medtronic, where responsibilities included ensuring the safety and reliability of thin-film electrodes for chronic deep brain stimulation applications and exploring new materials for neural recording and stimulation. Early career experience includes a position as a Junior Design Engineer at Sapiens Steering Brain Stimulation, emphasizing electrochemical characterization of electrodes. Kambiz holds a PhD in Bioelectronics from Delft University of Technology and a Professional Doctorate in Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, along with a Master's degree in Electronics from the University of Tehran.
