Amanda Sussex has worked in a variety of roles in the health and business sectors. In 2022, they became the Head of BD & Partnerships at Salvo Health, an Advisor at Seven Starling, and a Regional Lead at The Grind. From 2020 to 2019, they were the Senior Director of Business Development & Partnerships and Director of Partnerships at Mindstrong and Director of Business Development at Carrum Health, respectively. From 2017 to 2016, they were the Senior Manager Business Development, Health at Serco and Co-Founder at Bring Your Own Cocktail. From 2014 to 2011, they were the Deputy Director, Small Business Marketplace and Senior Policy Advisor at the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, and the SHOP Policy and Systems Testing Lead and State Officer at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. In 2010, they were a Student Consultant at the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Amanda Sussex earned their B.S. in Psychology from the University of Miami and their MPH in Health Policy from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
