Devon Simmons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social justice and education. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Associate Director of the Paralegal Pathways Initiative at Columbia Law School since January 2019, Devon has also held roles such as Salzburg Global Seminar participant, Global Atlantic Fellow at the Atlantic Institute, and International Ambassador for the Incarceration Nations Network. Previous contributions include Advisory Board Member for The Petey Greene Program and Vice Chair of the Canary Impact Fund. Devon's accolades include being a Soros Justice Fellow and an Atlantic Fellow for Racial Equity. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/English from John Jay College, a Justice-in-Education Scholar recognition from Columbia University, an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from CUNY Hostos Community College, and participation in the Prison-to-College Pipeline Program at John Jay College.
