Manager, Operations And Organizational Development at Salzburg Global Seminar

Penelope Ogut currently serves as the Manager of Operations and Organizational Development at Salzburg Global Seminar, a position held since March 2022. In this role, Penelope manages operational processes related to program participation, including international travel, finance, and reporting, while facilitating internal communication and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of Fellows. Previously, Penelope worked as a Development and Operations Associate at the same organization, overseeing applications and international travel coordination for diverse programs. Earlier teaching experience includes roles as an English, French, and German Teacher at St. George's The British International School and as a Modern Foreign Language Teacher and Sixth Form Tutor at St James Senior Boys' School. Penelope holds a Master's degree in Communication for Development from Malmö University, a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, and a BA in German and French from UCL, along with study at Sorbonne Université.
