Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a diverse background in developing collaborative solutions in various roles. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris contributes to the development of hardware for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools, and working as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design and repair for educational devices. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting electronic circuits courses, and gained experience as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
