Jaideep Sarkar

Jaideep Sarkar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software and machine learning platforms. Currently serving as VP of Software and ML Platform at SambaNova Systems since May 2022, Jaideep drives the development of a machine learning cloud for enterprise applications. Prior roles include VP Engineering at Shift Technology, where responsibilities encompassed managing multi-disciplinary teams and defining the company's technical strategy. Jaideep also held leadership positions at Criteo and Microsoft, including roles as Eng Leader for Business AI and Co-Founder of Microsoft PowerApps. Early career experiences involved software engineering at The MathWorks and Gallagher Financial Systems. Jaideep holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BIT Mesra.
