Rex Young

Rex Young is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at SambaSafety since August 2022. Prior to this role, Rex was a Member of the Board of Directors for the Colorado Technology Association from January 2023 to February 2024 and held the position of Chief Information Officer at LogRhythm between September 2015 and August 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the Global Technology Services function. Rex has also served as Chief Information Security Officer and EVP of Technical Operations at Convercent, Principal Architect at Equinix, and Director of IT Operations at Rivet Software (now Certent, Inc.), where significant contributions involved building IT operations during periods of rapid growth. Earlier experience includes senior roles at VeriSign Inc., Signio, and consulting positions, as well as service in the US Navy, managing electronic systems on Lockheed P-3C Orion aircraft.
