Angela Caldwell, MS, serves as a Public Health Analyst at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) since August 2020, overseeing complex public health programs and policy effectiveness. As a Public Health Advisor, Angela presented at the Hubert H. Humphrey Drug Abuse Research Fellows NIDA conference, focusing on substance use during COVID-19. Concurrently, Angela works as a Trainer for the DC Department of Behavioral Health, providing Recovery Coach Training. Angela has extensive experience as a Subject Matter Expert with Montgomery Recovery Services, Inc., addressing addiction issues through media interviews and community engagement. Angela holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Towson University.
