Henry Pietrkowski

Henry Pietrkowski is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Litigation at Sammons Financial Group Companies since December 2017. Prior roles at the same company include Associate Vice President and Senior Counsel. Prior to Sammons, Henry was a Litigation Partner at Reed Smith LLP from March 2007 to December 2017, where the focus was on defending consumer class actions for a variety of industries. Earlier in the career, Henry was a Litigation Partner at Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd., handling both plaintiff and defense side class actions, and served as deputy head of the firm's litigation department. Henry began the career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Joe B. McDade in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Northwestern University.
