Vanessa van Vark

Vanessa Van Vark, PHR, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources, specializing in compensation and performance management. Currently serving as Manager of HR, Compensation & Performance Management at Sammons Financial Group Companies since April 2014, Vanessa has held various roles within the organization, including HR Consultant and Sr HR Specialist. Prior to this, Vanessa worked at QPS Employment Group, where responsibilities encompassed internal recruiting, employee onboarding, and managing employee issues across multiple states. Vanessa's early career included positions at Wells Fargo and as a recruiter for USA Staffing, where initial HR experience was gained. Vanessa holds a BA in Communication Studies from Iowa State University and an AA in Liberal Arts from Des Moines Area Community College.
