Franco Giacosa

Franco Giacosa has been working in the software engineering field since 2007. Franco started their career as a Research Intern at LIFIA in 2007, then moved on to become a Junior Researcher at the same company in 2011. In 2011, they began working as a Software Engineer at Oracle. In 2013, they took on a Software Engineer role at Modus. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Pulpo (An Entravision Company) and Qardio, Inc. In 2017, they were promoted to Lead Software Engineer and Head Of Development at Samotics. Franco also held a Sr. Development Engineer role at Payconiq in the same year.

Franco Giacosa obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Facultad de Informática within Universidad Nacional de La Plata between 2009 and 2011. Franco also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, Franco Giacosa has obtained three certifications from Coursera: "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" (August 2017), "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" (August 2017), and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" (August 2017).
