Oriol Peláez Mercadal

Oriol Peláez Mercadal has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Peón de almacén (Storehouse keeper) at Bobitècnic. Oriol then worked as a Technical Office Engineer at Drac Enginyers from January 2019 to September 2019. In 2019, they also completed their Master Thesis at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics. Recently, Oriol joined Samotics in March 2021 as a Data Science Support Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Monitoring & Data Qualification Analyst.

Oriol Peláez Mercadal holds a Master's Degree in Earth Atmosphere and Solar System from Luleå University of Technology, which they completed from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Grado en Ingeniería in Recursos energéticos y mineros from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Oriol has also earned several certifications. Oriol completed the "Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals" certification from LinkedIn in June 2021, the "Machine Learning" certification from Stanford University in December 2020, and the "Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)" from Cambridge University Press & Assessment English in February 2016.
