Daniel Rufelt

Daniel Rufelt has a diverse work experience. Daniel is currently the Head of Group Capital Modelling at Sampo plc since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at If P&C Insurance from 2013 to 2021, starting as a Project Manager in Risk Management and later becoming the Head of Capital Management. Before that, they worked at Sirius International as an ERM Modeler in Risk & Capital Modeling from 2011 to 2013. In 2008, they had roles at If P&C Insurance as a Risk Analyst in Capital Management and as an Actuarial trainee. Daniel also worked as a Master thesis student at Cinnober Financial Technology in 2008.

Daniel Rufelt has a diverse education history. Daniel earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering physics and financial mathematics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008. Daniel then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration at Stockholm University from 2007 to 2009. Continuing their education, from 2008 to 2012, Daniel obtained another Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Actuarial Mathematics (120 ECTS) from Stockholm University. Daniel furthered their actuarial studies with the Swedish Society of Actuaries, becoming a Qualified Actuary DSA from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they achieved the certification of Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) from the Swedish Society of Actuaries in 2013.
