Magnus Braun

Magnus Braun has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Magnus currently serves as the Head of Group Rating at Sampo plc since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at If Insurance (If P&C Insurance) from 2010 to 2020, holding various roles including Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Capital Planning & Rating, and Project Manager Risk Management. Before If Insurance, Magnus worked at Svenska Handelsbanken, where they held positions such as Group Controller, Risk Analyst Basel II, Deputy Branch Manager, and Account Manager in the Private and Corporate Banking division. In addition to their corporate roles, Magnus also owned Trading HB in 1998.

Magnus Braun completed their secondary education at Agnebergsskolan from 1991 to 1994. Magnus then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Business, financing & accounting from the University of Gothenburg, graduating in the year 1998.
