Alisia Smith

Alisia Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of accounts receivable management. Alisia started their career at DENSO in 1996 as a Credit & Collections Team Lead, where they played a crucial role in training and guiding the team towards achieving their AR targets. Alisia worked closely with the AR manager to develop processes and procedures for the team and monitor their progress. After leaving DENSO in 2009, they joined Cummins Inc. in 2011, initially as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, responsible for managing a team of collections analysts and handling various tasks such as payment reconciliation, risk monitoring, and training new associates. From there, Alisia advanced to the position of Accounts Receivable Manager at Cummins Inc., leading the transition of accounts receivable work into the shared service center. In 2019, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Accounts Receivable Manager, where they continued to excel in managing accounts receivable operations until 2021. Following their time at AWS, Alisia pursued a role as an Sr Accounts Receivable Manager at Amazon, where they worked for a short period before joining Samsara in 2022 as an AR Manager. Throughout their career, Alisia has consistently demonstrated their expertise in accounts receivable management and their ability to adapt to new environments and responsibilities.

Alisia Smith completed their undergraduate studies from 1993 to 1996 at Wayne State University. During this time, they did not receive a specific degree. Alisia then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management and Leadership from American InterContinental University, graduating in 2016.
