Derrek Harrison

Derrek Harrison has a strong background in engineering and leadership positions. Derrek started their career at Air Products in 2009, working in research and development. In 2010, they joined BigMachines as a software developer and later became a partner solutions engineer. Moving on to Kinetic Growth in 2012, Derrek took on the role of principal software developer until 2016 when they were promoted to director of engineering. At Samsara, where they have been since 2018, Derrek has held various positions including manager of engineering, director of engineering, and their current role as senior director of engineering.

Derrek Harrison attended Lehigh University from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
