Efrain Hernandez Franco

Efrain Hernandez Franco is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and development across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Product Design Mechanical Engineer at Samsara since April 2024, Efrain previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer and Tech Lead at Ghost, where oversight included mechanical design and thermal integration for innovative technologies. At Sensata Technologies, Efrain contributed significantly to the successful design and production of the Tesla 250kW Model 3 Fast Charge Contactor, as well as the development of Magnetic Speed and Position Sensors for automotive applications. Efrain's academic background includes a PhD in Mechanics and a Master's degree in Robotics from Universidad Panamericana, where additional roles involved teaching engineering courses and managing a Robotics Lab. Efrain's diverse skill set is complemented by strong leadership and technical expertise, making a significant impact in mechanical engineering and design.
