Emily Porter

Emily Porter has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Emily is currently working as a Sales Operations and Strategy Manager for the Enterprise team at Samsara since January 2022. Prior to this, Emily worked at Cisco from 2019 to 2022, where they held the position of Sales Strategy Analyst for the Americas Team Lead and later for Enterprise, Canada, and Latin America.

Before their role at Cisco, Emily worked at Western Digital from 2016 to 2019. Emily started as a Gary J. Sbona Business Marketing Intern, conducting market research and creating marketing campaigns. Emily then transitioned to the role of Sales Analyst, where they tracked and reported on sales data for the North America Cloud team.

In 2015, Emily worked as an Administrative Services Manager at Radiant Chiropractic and Acupuncture. Prior to that, they were a Gary J. Sbona Business Marketing Intern at Dolby Laboratories in 2016, where they collected research data and recommended marketing tactics.

Emily started their career at YMCA of the USA as a Membership Associate from 2013 to 2015. Emily then worked as a Merchandiser at ULTA Beauty from 2012 to 2013 and as a Sales Associate at Macy's from 2011 to 2012.

Emily Porter attended San Jose State University from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.
