Mark Fulks

Mark Fulks has extensive work experience in various technology companies. Mark currently serves as the Director of Firmware Engineering on the Device Platform at Samsara since 2022. Before that, they worked at Elo Touch Solutions as the Senior Director of Software Engineering from 2019 to 2022.

Mark also held the role of CEO/CTO at MagDrive Technologies, where they provided technical and operational consulting services to companies from 2017 to 2019. Mark has experience in developing software and hardware components for electric vehicle DIY projects and mentoring engineering students.

Prior to that, Mark worked as the VP of Advanced Technologies at ACADINE Technologies from 2015 to 2017. During their time there, they focused on developing embedded IoT client/cloud coupled smart IoT devices and was involved in developing KaiOS.

Mark has also held positions at Pelican Imaging as the COO, Nokia as the Senior Director and Head of Product and Engineering, Bling Mobile as the Chief Product Officer, Sun Microsystems as the Director of Software Engineering, J2ME Platform Development, Diba as a Software Engineer/Manager, and Semiconductor Systems as a Software Engineer/Manager.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated their expertise in firmware engineering, software engineering, IoT devices, embedded systems, and product development.

Mark Fulks has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Sonoma State University. Mark has also undertaken continuing education in Computer Science at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension. The specified start and end years for both educational experiences are not available.
