Tim Faugl

Tim Faugl is a seasoned security operations professional currently serving as a Senior Security Operations Engineer at Samsara since October 2023. Previously, Tim held roles as a Security Analyst and Security Incident Commander at Airtable, where responsibilities included ensuring rapid incident response and developing foundational SOC workflows. Tim also served at Ally for nearly three years, advancing from Level 1 to Level 2 Security Analyst in the SOC, focusing on incident response and security investigations. Early in the career, Tim gained engineering experience with Savannah River Remediation LLC, supporting waste removal projects, and contributed as a Nuclear Safety Engineer. Tim’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the College of Charleston, supplemented by ongoing studies at Evolve Security Academy.
