Chad Hislop

Chad Hislop has extensive work experience in engineering and product management, with a focus on new product development and managing existing product lines. Chad has held various roles at Genie and was responsible for managing global product teams, conducting market research, and serving as the main point of contact between Engineering, Sales, Service, and Customers. Chad also oversaw multiple projects, including product maintenance, engineering process development, and FEA analysis. Chad is currently working at Samson Rope Technologies as the Vice President of Engineering and R&D.

Chad Hislop holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in Technology Management, which they earned from the University of Washington between 2012 to 2014. Before that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 2002 to 2004. Prior to their Master's degree, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington between 1997 to 2002. Additionally, Chad has received several certifications in project management foundations and ethics from LinkedIn, which they obtained in May and June 2023.
