Erica Hyesung Shin

Erica Hyesung Shin is a Senior Legal Counsel at Samsung BioLogics since April 2019, with extensive experience in legal practices including both law firm and in-house environments. Previously, Erica served as Chief Content Officer and General Counsel for Law&Company, where responsibilities included drafting legal documents for online operations, participating in legislative processes, and managing projects related to document automation software. As an attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC from February 2013 to December 2017, Erica specialized in Intellectual Property, corporate law, and regulatory advice for M&A transactions. Additionally, Erica has experience as Legal Counsel for the 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games and as a research assistant, with a solid educational background including a Doctor of Law degree from Korea University and courses at Harvard and Waseda University.
