Masanobu Tanaka

Masanobu Tanaka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the display industry, currently serving as Vice President at Samsung Display since February 2022. Previously, Masanobu held various leadership roles at JOLED Inc., including Deputy Head Of Division and Senior General Manager, contributing significantly to the development of OLED and Organic TFT technologies. Prior to JOLED, Masanobu worked at SONY for nearly two decades, where responsibilities included the development of printing technologies for electrical and optical devices and engineering processes for LCD cells. Academically, Masanobu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electronic Chemistry from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Osaka University.
