Sung-Chan Jo

Sung-Chan Jo has extensive work experience, starting in 1992 as a Senior Researcher at SKC Limited. From 1998 to 1999, they served as Vice Director at NITGen. In 2003, Sung-Chan Jo became the Lab Manager at the Center for Biomarker Analysis, where they worked until 2006. At Samsung Electronics, Sung-Chan Jo held the position of Principal Engineer from 2006 to 2012. Sung-Chan then joined Samsung Display and held various roles, including Principal Engineer / Group Lead Manager from 2012 to 2014, Vice President / Team Lead Manager from 2014 to 2017, and Vice President / Team Lead Manager from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Sung-Chan Jo holds the position of Corporate EVP / Team Lead Manager at Samsung Display.

Sung-Chan Jo pursued their education in the field of chemistry. Sung-Chan first obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from Seoul National University in 1990. Sung-Chan then went on to complete a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from the same university between 1990 and 1992. Additionally, during this period, they also obtained a Masters degree from Seoul National University. Subsequently, Sung-Chan Jo attended Purdue University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Analytical Chemistry from 1999 to 2003.
