Seongnam Oh

Seongnam Oh is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the digital television industry. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Sr. Director at Digital Media Solution Lab, Samsung Research America since March 2012, Seongnam Oh leads the development of Synthetic 3D/2D and Ground Truth Dataset Generation Solutions. Previous roles include Principal Engineer in the DTV Division at Broadcom from August 2009 to October 2011, and System & Software Architect at ATI/AMD in the DTV Division from January 2006 to August 2009. Seongnam Oh also held the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics from April 1998 to December 2005, focusing on multimedia solutions in the Visual Display Division. Seongnam Oh holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Image & Signal Processing from Chungbuk National University, earned between 1995 and 1997.
