Thiyagu Gulasegaram possesses extensive experience in product development and research, currently serving as the Head of Research & Development at Samsung Electronics since January 2007. Thiyagu leads innovation-driven product development and manages New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, focusing on cross-functional collaboration and design efficiency. Previously, Thiyagu held the position of Head of the Kitchen Solution-G Department, overseeing comprehensive product development processes and ensuring cost control and quality oversight. Thiyagu’s career began at Swichtec Power System Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Engineer in the Quality Assurance Department, and educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.
