Dominik Maresch

Dominik Maresch is an accomplished design engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently employed at Samsung SDI Battery Systems since March 2020, Dominik has held the roles of Design Engineer, Resident Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer. Previously, Dominik completed a Master's thesis at Magna International, focusing on CAD design recipes for automotive tools and fixtures, and also interned in the field of Additive Manufacturing. Dominik's academic background includes a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering Technology from FH Joanneum and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Vehicle Technology from the same institution. Early career experiences include roles at AVL, contributing to thermal and strength calculations for battery projects, as well as internships and practical work in automotive design and construction. Dominik also has military experience from service with the Austrian Armed Forces.
