Chrl Kevin Stephney

Kevin Stephney, CHRL has extensive work experience in the human resources field. Kevin is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources Canada at Samuel, Son & Co. since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Manager in People & Change Management Consulting at BDO Canada from January 2021 to February 2022.

Kevin also has previous experience at Samuel, Son & Co. where they held the positions of Human Resources Manager from August 2017 to January 2021 and Human Resources Generalist from May 2016 to August 2017.

Before joining Samuel, Son & Co., Kevin worked at Inscape, where they held various roles including Labour Relations Team Leader from April 2015 to May 2016, Health & Safety Specialist from November 2012 to April 2015, and Human Resources Coordinator from December 2011 to November 2012.

Additionally, Kevin has worked at First Advantage as a Pre-Employment Screening Specialist from September 2011 to December 2011, and as a Human Resources Intern at Organizational Solutions Inc. from May 2011 to August 2011.

Kevin Stephney, CHRL, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. In 2010 to 2011, Kevin pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College. Kevin acquired a CHRL certification from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in May 2012. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, they completed a Certificate in Adult Education from Seneca Polytechnic. Currently, Kevin is working towards a Certificate in Leadership & Inclusion from Centennial College, which they started in 2021 and is expected to finish in 2022.
